Urth Yarns 16 Fingering

This yarn is spun from 16 micron count merino, which makes it as fine as cashmere, and it feels that soft.

It is the fineness of the fibers (measured in microns) that makes a wool soft.  The average fine merino wool is in the 19-21.5 micron count range.

Fiber Content: 100% extrafine merino (superwash)

Yardage:  220 yds (200 m) /  50 gr per skein

Gauge:  7-8 Stitches per inch on US 3-6 (3.25-4mm) needles
